Reason To Patronize Us
We love children and believe that all children deserve quality care. We also believe that children respond best to an environment that meets their unique needs. That’s why we take the time to make children feel welcome – toys to play with, movies to watch, and the way we talk to them and explain our procedures. We know there is a lot at stake. Our perceptions of dental care are shaped when we are very young and can last a lifetime. It is, therefore, crucial to making your child’s experience as positive as possible, so that it is sustainable dental habits.
We listen carefully to parents as partners in protecting the dental health of children. In our office, you will find that we take the time to get to know your family and your specific needs. We will help design a home prevention plan that includes good oral hygiene and diet practices that you can implement easily and successfully. Our goal is to assist in the enlightenment of our families and prevent dental problems. As a team, we can prevent tooth decay and help keep your child smiling all his life! Our practice is a great place for parents and children to share a fun, safe and rewarding dental experience. We do complete treatment planning using the latest restorative and aesthetic dentistry techniques to achieve the highest level of dental health in your child.
We Take Hygiene Seriously:
Infection control in our office is also of the utmost necessity to us. To keep our patients and ourselves safe, we strongly adhere to the sterilization and cross-contamination processes under the standards provided by the American Dental Association (ADA), OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) and the Center for Disease Control. (CDC).

Children’s Dental Health FAQ:
What’s the best way to clean my baby’s teeth?
After feeding, even babies without teeth can have their gums cleared with a small wet washcloth. When the first tooth comes in, this means it is time to switch to a soft baby toothbrush. Be sure to check their new teeth for any abnormal signs and continue to brush after each time they eat, and especially before bed.
When should I schedule my child’s first visit to the dentist?
When the first tooth appears means it is time to schedule their first dentist appointment.
What happens during my child’s first visit to the dentist?
First, we attempt to make it as stress-free and enjoyable as possible, so future visits will not be something to fear. We will check their gums and jaw health and inspect the health of their teeth. After, we will do a cleaning and fluoride treatment to increase the strength and prevent future cavities. Last but certainly not least we will and answer any and all questions you might have.
How often should my child visit the dentist?
Generally, the suggested frequency is to return every 6 months for a checkup.
When can my child brush his/her own teeth?
An adult should brush the child’s teeth until they are old enough and mature enough to understand the responsibility. This varies for each child but typically around 7 years old.
How can my child avoid cavities?
- Minimize food high in sugar.
- Brushing daily, at least 2x a day.
- Using a quality toothpaste with fluoride
- Flossing daily
